Paris. The city of love. The Eiffel Tower. Arc de Triumph. The Louvre. Notre Dame…
There are many things to see in Paris where excited crowds gather, but what are some of the lesser known places to visit? Here are a couple that we LOVE!
If you love art, you will want to discover the recently renovated galleries of the Musée d’Orsay, located under the soaring roof of one of Paris’s grand old Beaux Art railway stations and home to the world’s largest collection of Impressionist masterpieces.
To relax, the manicured gardens of the Palais-Royal is a stunning setting for lunch, a cup of tea or just to relax. The former royal residence is now home to world-class perfumers, antiquaires and designer boutiques—including Marc Jacobs, Rick Owens, Stella McCartney, and Pierre Hardy.
And if shopping is your thing, the Marais is by far the best shopping neighborhood in Paris. Located in the historic 3rd and 4th arrondissements, the Marais’s ancient private mansions, museums, restaurants, the old Jewish quarter and the Place des Vosges make this an absolute must-see.
